#007 - “Occupy Bajor” involved very few Guy Fawkes masks

I would have made that last Geordi panel redder, but it turns out there isn’t any redder red than that. None more red. But, yes, I need to expand my collection of Angry Geordi screencaps, because the way things are going we might be seeing a lot of him.
Geordi: Location: the Bajoran homeward, Bajor! Stardate: the day after tomorrow!
Riker: Tuesday?
Geordi: It’s a figure of speech, Will, it means– look, it’s a few years from now? The Cardassian occupation of Bajor has ended–
Data: It is highly unlikely that the Cardassian occupation would terminate within the foreseeable future. Please explain.
Geordi: It–it just did, Data, okay? And the Cardassians have abandoned the space station Terok Nor to the–
Picard: Trek noir?
Data: It is highly unlikely that the Cardassians would cede an entire space station.
Geordi: –they abandoned it to the Bajoran people, and–
Riker: Abandoned? Like, there’re lonely Bajoran women on this station, is that what I’m hearing?
Geordi: –and the name of the station is Deep Space Nine and–
Data: Geordi, there is no such station designation in Starfleet record–
Riker: Deep Space sixty-nine–
Geordi: You know what, y’all can just run your own goddam campaign, I’m gonna go modulate some fuckin–
Troi: Geordi, wait!
Geordi: WHAT.
Troi: …
Troi: I sense you are experiencing feelings of frustration.
I wasn't really sure what to do with background color panels when this all started; I think for these first few strips I just flailed around a little bit with abstract compositions or per-character colors without any real consistency. Some color was just a lot more satisfying than empty white panels. Jim Davis Theory Of Minimum Viable Backgrounds.
This red-as-in-temper thing with Geordi was a little bit of inspiration but I'm not sure I ever came back to that sort of theme.
Also, noting that it's obviously at odds with TNG aesthetics to have Geordie start dropping f-bombs but (a) I refuse to believe he wouldn't sometimes anyway and (b) we're establishing a deconstructive parallel fiction here so no you shut up.
A good comment, from It's Raining Florence Henderson: "It is highly likely that Captain Bill Striker would seed an entire space station."
